An exciting new role has arisen in our Communications Service for a Communications & Marketing Officer: Part-time. Working to the Director of Communications, the purpose of this part-time role is to assist with development, consolidation and focus of the communication and marketing requirements of One Family around new technologies, whilst also engaging with traditional communications; and with production of all One Family events, including our annual Family Day Festival. One Family requires a Communications & Marketing Officer who will utilise their broad communications background and marketing experience in order to positively communicate and market One Family’s mission and services.

Volunteer with our askonefamily Helpline

logoAre you interested in a challenging and vital volunteer role that makes a real difference?

We are seeking volunteers for askonefamily, One Family’s national lo-call helpline service for all members of one-parent families and those who share parenting, their families and friends, and professionals working with them. The aim of the role is to assist helpline callers in finding their own resolution to issues affecting them through the provision of information and emotional support. Based in Cherish House, Dublin 2, full training and ongoing support and supervision will be provided.

If you are:

  • Able to listen
  • A clear communicator
  • Able to commit to a daytime helpline shift once a week (3+ hours)
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to attend six half days (non-consecutive) of training, during the day
  • And have basic computer skills

One Family Internship Offered

Would you like to be part of the One Family team? We are offering an Internship through JobBridge for a Training Service & Communications Assistant to work across our Training for Professionals service and Communications service. This is an interesting role offering a variety of experience in administration, marketing and communications.
