1. Communications and Events Manager (Part-time)

Leading the Communications, Events & Marketing Service Team in One Family, the ideal candidate will utilise their communications, events and marketing experience in order to positively communicate One Family’s mission and services. This is a dynamic, varied role requiring a broad skillset, and a solid track record in communicating to diverse audiences through a variety of media.

2. Counsellor

One Family is recruiting a Counsellor to help meet the needs of its expanding Counselling Service. While the majority of the counselling work in One Family is individual client work, a great deal of work is now with clients who are separating or have separated. This role will be filled to meet this growing need of our clients.

3. Parent Support Coach

The Parent Support Coach is a newly developed role designed to provide dedicated support to parents experiencing emotional and practical difficulties which impact on their quality of life and stability within their families. This post will provide the right applicant with the opportunity to work as part of a team, providing individual support to parents as well as group-based support.  The project aims to support people parenting alone or sharing parenting through our parenting courses: Positive Parenting for Changing Families; Family Communications, Coping with Teens and Family Life; Parenting When Separated; and Parenting Under Stress.  One to one support will range from parent mentoring to key-working parents who find it difficult to connect with support services.

4. Parenting Administrator

One Family is recruiting a Parenting Administrator. The Parenting Administrator is an important role within the service, one which ensures that all aspects of the service can run smoothly. The Parenting Service offers group-based as well as individual supports to parents, many of whom are difficult to engage.

5. Social Policy Analyst

One Family would like to recruit an experienced Social Policy Analyst to deliver a Practice to Policy response in line with our Strategic Plan 2016-2018. One Family is at the forefront of policy and research on issues relevant to one-parent families, those sharing parenting and families in transition; and associated areas including education, housing, poverty, family law, employment and others. We are regularly invited to participate in and contribute to expert panels at home and internationally.

6. Play Therapist

One Family is recruiting for a part-time Play Therapist. This  role will join the Counselling Service Team in One Family. This service is currently being expanded to provide a wider range of Creative and Talking Therapies to support children and young people with family changes and possible conflict.

7. Parenting and Welfare to Work Facilitator Panel – Invitation to Tender

One Family is accepting tenders for the parenting and Welfare to Work Facilitator Panel. One Family has developed manualised programmes which are delivered by facilitators in both our Parenting and Programmes services.

Our parenting courses are aimed at supporting parents to parent as effectively as they can, ensuring quality outcomes for children in all families. The welfare to work programmes aim to support lone parents to meet the challenges of parenting alone or sharing parenting and progress into sustainable training, education and employment opportunities. One Family are seeking tenders from suitable applicants to form a panel of facilitators who will help to deliver these aims.

8. Early Years Relief Panel

We are currently recruiting for positions on our Early Years Relief Panel to provide cover for staff who are on leave, attending training or due to other unplanned absences. This is a position where you will be working directly with children from birth to 4 years and actively supporting parents who use our services.
