Storytelling – Patricia

Patricia is in her mid 50s and is raising her two grandchildren by herself. She was let go from her work as a carer a few weeks into the pandemic because she caught COVID. She had no idea how she was going to manage.

Our parenting service arranged to drop grocery vouchers into her letter box, and followed up with phone calls to ensure she got them and was safe.

Patricia said that this support meant so much to her during a very difficult time. Thank you for supporting our work with Patricia and the many other brave people like her who are parenting alone.
