It is okay to not feel over the moon about being pregnant and to not love every second of it. This is a very physically and mentally demanding time for a woman. This can be even harder if you are no longer sharing a relationship with the other parent; or if you feel unprepared for parenthood. There are worries and stresses associated with parenting for all parents regardless of how they enter parenthood; taking time over the coming months to plan for what you want is important. Enjoy the days you can as pregnancy is not always glamorous or easy, everyone is unique, as is every pregnancy. Take time to think about the parent you want to be for your child, imagine life as a parent and then think about what you need to put in place over time to achieve this for you and your baby.
