Workshop Description
This workshop will support front line practitioners in understanding the mediation process and how parents can engage with mediation to help reduce conflict and find amicable ways to share parenting of children post separation.
The facilitators, two practicing family mediators will bring practitioners through the following:
- What is Mediation
- Preparing parents to engage in mediation
- Helping parents be mediation ready
- Supporting parents throughout the mediation process
- Helping parents to apply and understand waiting lists
- Manage parents expectations of the mediation process
- Q & A with two experienced family mediators
