Advocacy Project

Embedding the lived experience and voices of one-parent families in our policy and legislative work is of critical importance.  Our Advocacy Project supports lone parents to share their experiences and perspectives on the social and economic challenges facing impacting their families’ lives, and the changes they want Government and society to make.

Members of our Advocacy Project are given opportunities to feed into our policy and advocacy work, speak to politicians, represent issues impacting one-parent families in media, and more.
You must be over 18 to join the project.

Our Advocacy Project is funded by the UBIDAC (Ulster Bank Ireland Designated Activity Company) Fund, a philanthropic initiative facilitated by Community Foundation Ireland to support social justice, equality, and community advocacy across the country.
