Alliances & Networks
One Family is a proud and active member of the following cross-sector alliances and networks, where we represent the interests of one-parent families.
The National One Parent Family Alliance
The National One Parent Family Alliance comprises national organisations including Barnardos, One Family, Family Resource Centre National Forum , Focus Ireland, National Women’s Council, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, SPARK, and Treoir. This Alliance was established in 2020 around a shared concern about the high levels of poverty experienced by lone parents and their children. One Family is Chair of the Alliance.

Together for Public
Together for Public is an Alliance bringing together over 40 civil society organisations, trade unions, academics and childcare provider that are campaigning for a Public System of Early Childhood Education and Care.

The Separation Network
The Separation Network comprises eleven organisations including Rainbows Ireland, One Family, Meath Springboard Family Support Services, Artane Coolock Family Resource Centre, Kells Family Resource Centre, Donegal Parent and Family Support Service, Northside Family Resource Centre, Time 4 Us, Treoir, Southend Family Resource Centre and Doras Bui. The network supports practitioners that work with separating parents and children to deliver best outcomes for families. They also provide training, best-practice guidance and peer support. Rainbows Ireland is the lead agency for the network.

The Infant Mental Health Network
The Infant Mental Health Network Dublin 7 & 1 was established in June 2024 by One Family in partnership with ABC Grangegorman, to better support one-parent families with complex and intersectional needs. Network membership includes front-line service providers, early years services, NGO’s and other professionals working to support or interacting with one-parent families.
