After our last successful night in Odessa Club in April we are holding another brain busting night to keep all you quiz enthusiasts content. Please help to spread the word by letting your friends know about our charity night.

We really appreciate both your physical and fundraising efforts. Although it was a wet day the turn out was fantastic. Everyone made it to the finish line safely and a little soggy. Nothing a good cup of tea and a hot bath didn’t cure.  So thank you!

There were 40,397 official participants this year with a smattering of people who did not get a chance to register in time and men dressed in dubious costumes. This is the marathon’s 28^th year and it is going from strength to strength. The race remains the biggest of its kind in the world, with double the numbers of similar events in the UK and the USA. It is also the biggest single day charity event in the country. We truly appreciate you for choosing One Family as your charity of choice. Words can’t fully express how much your fundraising means to us. You all have a lot to be proud of! Some of those that started off from One Family on the day can be seen below.

What: Volunteer event committee recruitment for this year’s “Learn How to Have a Champagne Party on a Bucks Fizz Budget” charity event.

Why: This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with what has been a very successful annual charity event. This year for the first time we are putting together an event committee of people who would volunteer their time to assist with the creation and roll out of November’s event, in areas like logistics, charity auction & raffle and ticket sales.

Why: To actively assist with an established charity event in aid of One Family, Ireland’s leading support organization for people who are parenting alone or sharing parenting and their children.

We are happy to say that Ross Golden Bannon (Editor of Food&Wine Magazine) will be working closely with us on this event as he has done in the past.
