One Family’s Free Legal Advice Centre will be open to hear all of your family law queries on 11th May 2010 and 8th June 2010. The centre will be open from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at Cherish House, 2 Lower Pembroke Street, Dublin 2.
This service is offered on an appointment only basis, to make an appointment please contact Reception on 01 662 9212.
A legally trained FLAC volunteer will be available to give legal advice on all of your family law matters. They will help you to establish whether or not there is a legal solution to your issue, explain what options are open to you and direct you to other services for further assistance.

Seminal research by One Family which calls for a network of child contact centres in Ireland was launched this week by Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Barry Andrews, TD, and the media response - including the front page of The Irish Examiner, three pieces in The Irish Times and other print coverage, along with a feature on RTE Radio 1′s Drivetime, interviews on TodayFM, Newstalk and FM104 – as well as many regional stations - proves just how important this research is. Positive Parenting, Dublin 10-12 May, is based on our manual Positive Parenting in One-Parent Families: building strong relationships and managing difficult behaviour. The course prepares workers to design and deliver parenting courses to groups or work one-to-one with families with an emphasis towards solo parents, sharing parenting and parenting through family change.
Family Communications – Coping With Teenagers, Dublin 24 – 26 May, is a project which One Family have developed in order to resource families with practical skills and strategies to help them to build positive and resilient relationships amongst and between family members
