About askonefamily helpline
The askonefamily helpline responds to calls from parents, family, friends and professionals working with one-parent families and offers information on a wide range of topics. If you are concerned about anything, from social welfare to parenting issues, or you are thinking about getting back to education or work, feel free to get in touch with us. Besides offering a listening ear, we can also refer you to local services in your area. Call 1890 662212 or email support@onefamily.ie. Our Big Night In fundraiser is to support this helpline – so thanks to all of you who are taking part and holding an event for us. We really need the help as we have received a 20% increase in calls since the recession and find it difficult to cope with the demand from people in distress, or in need of support or advice.
