Free Legal Advice Evenings At One Family

At the start of the year One Family introduced a new service with its Free Legal Aid (FLAC) family law centre and so far four FLAC evenings have been held.

The askonefamily helpline regularly receives calls from people with queries about family law, be it about access, guardianship or maintenance. In fact, after social welfare queries, legal questions form the second largest category of enquiries. Rather than having to refer these callers elsewhere, we can now put them  directly in touch with  our in-house service with FLAC. The service is offered by qualified and experienced family law practitioners who volunteer their time on a Tuesday evening once a month, between 5.30 and 7.30pm, on an appointment only basis.
